Ooh also, pasta with a tin of tomatoes, add a few herbs, stir, cook sausages, slice sausages diagonally (it looks nicer, actually just chop them up however) plonk pasta in bowl, stir tomato in, plonk sausages on top, stir again if required, eat.
Anything you can have on a bbq, but done on the grill/george foreman thing if you can't be bothered to get the bbq out.
Fajitas/any kind of wraps, or kebabs, basically pittas with salad and fry up some chicken in butter or grill it. Add garlic to chicken if wished. Other fillings, falafels, tuna...
Baked potatoes done in the microwave
Chilli etc done in the slow cooker (or reheated from previously cooked frozen)
Salad, cold/sliced meats, pate etc, dips, carrot/celery/cucumber/bread sticks and crusty bread (everyone helps themself)
A big omelette/frittata with everything possible in, including potato.
If any of these are not filling enough or you don't feel like eating much, make a massive fruit salad and keep in the fridge for pudding. Have pudding about an hour after dinner. (ie eat little and often)
pitta bread with hummous
tuna sandwiches
frittata
Also, use slow cooker. Doesn't make kitchen hot

Sorry, just realised tzatziki is dairy

You can do without it though.
A load of salad :
for your protein:tinned tuna, salmon, sardines, hard boiled egg, ham, chicken, chickpeas
for your carbs: serve it with bread, or add in potatoes or pasta.
We're having chicken and salad tortillas tonight, with huge dollops of cooling tzatziki.
Easy

Ready prepared trout fillets with salad (erm would usually do new pots cold). Carbs without cooking is tricky.
Dont want to cook dont want to be bothered with food. too hot. But ds needs a proper meal with vitamins, protein and carbs. But NO dairy! Anyone got any suggestions. Lots of suggestions please. i'm going to need them if this hot weather is going to stick around.
TIA
