My daughter has become dairy-intolerant and i would like to find a substitute for double cream that i could add to sauces , desserts etc. Does anyone know of a suitable alternative that i could use? thank you
Alpro one isn't bad... can be found in the gluten free section at Tesco.
Oatly also do a cream
thanks for replying, i will try them both this week.
I sometimes use Tofu yoghurt as a cream substitute. I also make custard with good quality soya milk and or rice milk.
