recipe from Good Food. My butcher will do me a brisket roll any day. In fact I had one on Xmas Eve to make Sauerbraten for the 29th Dec (marinates for 3 days)

It's hard to make from scratch as some of the ingredients are really hard to get hold of. I order it from the butcher and then just cook it at home. Yum!

Are you near a Jewish area? You'll have loads of choice if you are. But any decent butcher should be able to order it in for you.
