I would (and did) do pink good quality steak when pregnant. As long as your food hygiene has been immaculate (ie not left out of the fridge for long etc).

But I have no evidence on which to base this!

I am 17 weks pregnant and as it is our anniversary we want a nice meal tonight, we have some fillet steak left from Christmas so I have taken that out the freezer. I usually like my steak rare to medium rare but I know the guldelines say well cooked, do you think I could get away with just pink all the way through ? I trst the butcher the steak is from and I froze it within a day or so of buying it.
