What to do with flat champagne?

At the weekend, in a drunken moment, my DH opened my lovely big bottle of Moet, had one glass and left the rest to go flat. angry

I now have about a litre of it left and it is waiting to be tipped down the sink.

Any other ideas what I can do with it before it hits the drain?

Ouch - that hurts!

Cook with it. It won't taste very different from normal wine but will feel better than tipping it down the sink. Risotto, chicken in white wine, for tonight pasta with chicken, mushrooms, wine and cream ... bet you can think of better ideas.

yy to cooking with it

freeze in bags a glass to a small ziplock bag as most recipes normally call for a glass or two. or ice cube tray.

I expect you could also make a jelly with it. Jamie I am sure has a prosecco jelly somewhere, could look online. I wouldn't have thought the flatness would make a difference.

Good idea, didn't think about freezing it, just got into panic cooking mode. Gives me a bit of breathing space whilst I find some receipes.

Put it in the Soda Stream and drink it anyway!

LOL, thank you, just seen your replies.
Loving the idea of the soda stream. grin
It is frozen for now and have decided I must look for a champagne truffle receipe so it still seems decadent when I finally get to enjoy it.
If anyone has one I'll happily try it.

Use it half-and-half with water to make a lovely alcoholic jelly.

For truffles melt about 200g of plain choc. Add a slug of double cream. Let it cool a bit and whip with a wire whisk until it goes quite a bit lighter. I do mine in a mixer with a balloon whisk and it takes 15-20mins. Add a small amout of alcohol and then pipe into petit four paper cases.

It quite good fun, you can create g+t ones with gin and angostura bitters. If you add too much liquid they won't set.
