Nooooo sad, I love your straight talking, tell it like it is, styleee!

Just have a break, lurking to keep abreast and then come back in a week.

Maryz Thu 30-Aug-12 21:03:04

Just don't dereg, 'cos then they won't give you your name back when you inevitably just have a look at aibu one night when you are bored and get sucked back in.

Not that that has ever happened to me, you understand <lies>

Please don't go usualsuspect I will miss you, I hope I haven't upset you. smile wine

honestly, I've been here far too long to not be able to do it

fanjoforthemammaries Thu 30-Aug-12 21:04:49

Awwww sad

amillionyears Thu 30-Aug-12 21:05:26

I dont want you to go usual.
Perhaps you could have a break, and come back with your usual name later.
I always have 1 day off a week from MN,every week.Perhaps you could do that.
I felt hurt on your and others behalf on that thread.I think the op posted in poor taste, but she did apologise.
I think a break may be a good idea for you,but maybe not a permanent one?

<applauds> Trinity grin

usualsuspect Thu 30-Aug-12 21:06:00

Don'tflatter yourself chub it anything you said I stand. By everything I said on that thread

Mintyy Thu 30-Aug-12 21:06:02

Oh no!

I suspect that we might have very little in common in rl or on paper ... but I very often seem to agree with you Usual.

I DEMAND that you stay and IGNORE the twats.

TrinityRhino Thu 30-Aug-12 21:06:36

<takes a bow> but really I was ruuuuuuude and shouldn't be applauded grin

<crap effort to not get deleted> grin

EchoBitch Thu 30-Aug-12 21:06:41

Sorry to see you go usual but why did you get involved with that thread if the subject upset you so much, surely better to sit on your hands and ignore it if you don't like what you see.
Fwiw,i didn't think that op was being nasty and a snob,i think she was taking a look of her own prejudices and saying how she now see's how hard it is to live on a low budget.
And that coming from relative wealth to low income is a difficult adjustment.

But that's just what i thought.

Oh yes how dare you trinity wink

usualsuspect Thu 30-Aug-12 21:07:38

Sorry about shit phone typing

What EchoBitch said.

TheLightPassenger Thu 30-Aug-12 21:09:03

I don't see what was so bad about what you posted usual, it's a puzzling place here at times!

PicklesThePottyMouthedParrot Thu 30-Aug-12 21:09:25

It's not really fair to blame the op of that thread is it. She cane across ok to be even if you didn't like the original post.

Usual, reconsider. Who is going to police them baby name threads and help protect the letter k? sad

Mintyy Thu 30-Aug-12 21:09:36

I think op of that thread could have hesitated and thought a moment before posting, Echo.

She has bought into the myth that Mumsnet is all Boden-clad middle class mums on good incomes. She deserves a bit of a kick up the arse for that lazy assumption alone, imvho.
