Good place to buy fish in London?

Only 2 weeks through my fishless cycle, so not ready to think about stocking my tank yet.

Any recommendations for a good place near to North London? I am now way of buying from the place where we got all our kit, as the guy who runs it is of the 'just wait a few days and chuck your fish in' school of thought. So I am hesitant to believe anything else he says.....

TIA Smile

What type of fish are you looking for? Have a look at breeders on facebook that's where I got one of my bettas from. Also there's an online shop called aquatics to your door you could have a look on there?

Maidenhead aquatics, which is in the back of a garden centre in Enfield.
5 mins walk from Crews Hill station.
They have a very large range of fish and give excellent advice. Every time I go an assistant is happy to spend a lot of time talking through what I need and why. They take fish keeping and welfare very seriously. If you take a sample of your water they will test it for you.
Good luck! Stocking the aquarium is the good bit after all that time waiting for the aquarium to be ready!
