I want to watch a decent film tonight on Netflix with the hubby. All recommendations welcomed. Thank you

Good thread OP. I have been doing box sets the last while but a movie would be great.

Grand Hotel Budapest, this movie is shit. A waste of time and very boring.

Second What we do in the shadows, I nearly laughed myself sick watching it. Brilliant film! grin

Apocalypto

The fundamentals of caring..... Paul rudd is brilliant in this!

I'm into dramas, thrillers, life stories, romance.... Don't cope with cheesyness.

MumQuack Fri 08-Jul-16 19:27:18

Oh and comedy too...

HappyHeart87 Fri 08-Jul-16 19:31:15

Another vote for Fundamentals of Caring here. Funny and sweet.

DH and I have been waving things at each others' faces and saying "bite of the James?" all week. You need to see it!

I loved movie 43 - it is ridiculously stupid - but the cameos are amazing! Such a shame it tanked

LastGirlOnTheLeft Fri 08-Jul-16 19:36:16

Manson? It is a docudrama/thriller. Very tense in parts and of course based on the true story.

MumQuack Fri 08-Jul-16 19:36:53

I like the look of that HappyHeart. Hubby still in the pub so might be watching it by myself !

MumQuack Fri 08-Jul-16 19:38:44

I love Paul Rudd

Was surprisingly impressed with both Hush and Jack Reacher.

Watching for more recommendations grin

Definitely What We Do In The Shadows

Look who's back - satire about Hiltler returning to modern day Germany. Excellent film.

MumQuack Fri 08-Jul-16 19:48:19

Oooo Hush looks good....quite heavy?

fudgefeet Fri 08-Jul-16 19:48:59

Slow west is great. Watched that a couple of times now. Blue ruin is good but violent. What we do in the shadows (?) is hilarious. I made my mum watch it months ago and she is still talking about it.

Grand Hotel Budapest is great!

But I always go back to one of my old time favourites - Misery (based on Stephen King novel)
