Last night I watched the silliest film I think I've ever seen in my life!

Blades Of Glory www.imdb.com/title/tt0445934/. It was on BBC3 and I think it's still on iPlayer now. It was so ridiculous I had to keep watching it grin

Anyone seen anything worse?!

We loved it, have had the DVD for a few years.

It takes different folks eh?

ProcrastinatorGeneral Sun 15-Nov-15 16:45:32

Nope, I think Blades of Glory is just about the worst thing I've ever seen grin

cardibach Sun 15-Nov-15 16:47:09

Sharknado. Although I haven't seen Blades of Glory - not my thing at all.

MajesticSeaFlapFlap Sun 15-Nov-15 16:48:47

Balls of steel

Like blades but with ping pong

FruVikingessOla Sun 15-Nov-15 16:50:58

partial, I didn't say that I hated it. I just meant that it was certainly the daftest film I've ever seen. I used to ice-skate (although badly) for many years and I used to be a reasonably competent skier - so I love Winter sports.

But that had to be the craziest film I've ever watched grin

It's awesome! I've seen 5 or 6 times!

YakTriangle Sun 15-Nov-15 16:52:26

It's ridiculous but very funny grin

IWasHereBeforeTheHack Sun 15-Nov-15 16:52:42

It's hilarious!

Arrowfanatic Sun 15-Nov-15 16:53:24

It's brilliant! Try Hot Tub Time machine!

EnaSharplesHairnet Sun 15-Nov-15 16:54:51

I loved Blades of Glory although it wasn't great. Ridiculous sums it up!

MrsCrimshaw Sun 15-Nov-15 17:15:16

Try Megashark vs Crocosaurus! I was once forced to sit through this. It's a B-movie with hilariously poor special effects. Unlike Blades of Glory which I believe is intentionally comedic ;) Typical Will Ferrell - not a patch on Anchorman though.

EnaSharplesHairnet Sun 15-Nov-15 17:16:46

There's the one about the average people who wake up in a future dumbed down USA and are treated as geniuses. Quite scary really!

ginmakesitallok Sun 15-Nov-15 17:17:33

Sharknado or snakes on a plane. Terrible films

PerspicaciaTick Sun 15-Nov-15 17:17:48

I love Blades of Glory. Will Ferrell is awesome. It makes me laugh no matter how shit the day has been.

experiencedhider Sun 15-Nov-15 17:17:55

Second Hot Tub Time Machine. Quite bonkers smile

Tapirbackrider Sun 15-Nov-15 17:19:44

Ena

That's Idiocrasy - it's got Luke Wilson in it.

EnaSharplesHairnet Sun 15-Nov-15 17:21:18

Yes, that's it thank you!

It's bad but I like it too.

BrianCoxReborn Sun 15-Nov-15 17:22:54

Sharknado is just....bizarre. I'm still not sure if it's food-bizarre or bad-bizarre or so-bad-its-good bizarre.

Luke Wilson is the most overrated actor ever. The man has no talent, comedic or otherwise and as for him being a sex symbol...to whom exactly???

I have irrational dislike of him

BrianCoxReborn Sun 15-Nov-15 17:23:28

Good not food ??

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours Sun 15-Nov-15 17:24:14

I see Sharknado has already been cited.

The best worst film you are ever likely to see!

However given I love a bit of cheese in a film I shall be giving Blades a go too

Talkmeoutofthis222 Sun 15-Nov-15 17:24:38

Tremors. Silliest film EVER.

PerspicaciaTick Sun 15-Nov-15 17:34:05

BoG is right up there with Zoolander.

FruVikingessOla Sun 15-Nov-15 17:42:03

Oh yes, Talk. Tremors - but I could watch that until the cows come home just because of Kevin Bacon!!

TheRattleBag Sun 15-Nov-15 17:47:41

I was quite enjoying "From Dusk 'Til Dawn" until everybody turned into vampires half way through. Still watched it to the end, though I wished I hadn't bothered! Utter drivel.
