It does say that, Butterfly. As a teenager, I was very impressed with this and repeated it endlessly. I'm now somewhat less convinced.

Bitch by Elizabeth Wurtzel is pretty funny and really put across some good point, but in other ways is a little sketchy (sometimes it's HOT if your husband non-consensually beats you...um...)

Yes, a surprising list. A few I've not even heard of and no Natasha Walter, Kat Banyard or Ann Oakley. Not much from the 80s either.

Whilst i am glad to see the inclusion of Andrea Dworkin's Intercourse, Brownmiller's Against Our Will and Kate Millett's Sexual Politics, I can not quite see how The Cider House Rules counts. There are some interesting ones though.
