Did the September Book Club,Dworkin's Intercourse, actually happen?
I was reading it with a view to coming along, but got a bit stuck, then when I looked for the thread I couldn't find it.
Wondered if I was being stupid and missing something obvious!

(Stiffed is on my to-read list,so one vote for that!)

I would like to hear other people's opinions on it.Currently I am 1/2 way through, and of all the "feminist" books I've read so far this is the only one that has left me feeling confused.Or possibly biscuit
I think I may be missing the point...

That'd be good for me,assuming other posters are also reading it and want to reschedule.
Thanks,SGM!

I'd also like to to read Gender Trouble,by Judith Butler.Would anyone else be interested in that?

grin
I did wonder if it would be a bit too much. Maybe a page at a time, with breaks?
<passes SGM nice clean hanky>

I do have Letters From a Fainthearted Feminist,by Jill Tweedie, but I'm not sure if that counts as a feminist text.....

I would second (third?) rescheduling Dworkin to January. I had only managed to read a few pages by the time of the club but I saw no-one else had commented anyway so I stopped reading blush also got a bit obsessed with my Kindle grin!

Is there a new Kat Banyard book? Couldn't find any info when I did a quick search,do you have details SGM?
I was also considering Shattered but I wasn't sure - the subject has been discussed so much on MN anyway.

Now I'm desperate to read it to see just how anti-feminist it is,and where you feature! (I shall compromise and get it from the library)
I was trawling Amazon yesterday and put Eve was Framed on my wishlist,so I'd vote for that too,And the Dorothy Dinnerstein sounds interesting.
In fact I am prepared to read pretty much anything, but I'm not that good at converting my thoughts on what I've read into discussion/posts - is anyone else out there with an opinion?
It seems a bit quiet here,or is there discussion going on elsewhere too?
