Good on em. I can never understand why some one would not be offended by those kind of jokes. It really amazes me. When I have asked colleagues (female) why they think it is ok they cant answer me and just say 'I dont know' in a really defensive manner Can anyone help me to understand why.

I don't know, but I can just hear them saying "Jesus Christ, here we go again" as soon as your back is turned.

Because they are offended but are afraid to say so.

Because once you make them think about it, they see your point and are embarrassed not to have seen it themselves.

I went to a Show in Edinburgh about the story of lesbianism. Before we went in I quipped 'at least there won't be any rape jokes' but even the radical lesbians are at it
