I've registered and paid and signed up for the feminist parenting workshops.

It's 9:30am-5pm on Saturday 23 October, details are here and there's an evening thing on too. I'll decide about that on the day but will be up for hanging around for a drink or two if others are.

See you there!

Hello Len I was wondering where you were I haven't seen you around for ages!

I have to talk to DH and see whether he is working that day or not - if he is then I really don't think lugging the children into town is on th cards sad

This has prompted me to put it on the calendar and collar DH smile

LeninGoooaaall Sun 11-Jul-10 18:08:46

Hello ISNT, hope you can make it, would be nice to meet.

ISNT Sun 11-Jul-10 18:22:52

Dh is working sad

Am toying with the idea of asking him to take the day off, not sure how he would feel about that!

LeninGoooaaall Sun 11-Jul-10 18:26:43

Do it, it's a one-off. I take leave all the time for this and that or so DP can do stuff.

ISNT Sun 11-Jul-10 18:29:31

grin lenin alright I will ask!

We don't really go in for this sort of commitment usually, so it's not something that's come up before (unbelievable that, thinking about it).

Will let you know what the answer is!

Would be fab to meet you to smile

<impatient>

DH checking with work when he goes in on Tues.

ElephantsAndMiasmas Sun 11-Jul-10 20:53:18

oh my god that sounds brilliant!

There's a creche ISNT if it comes to that. Or if lots of people are coming we could talk splitting babysitting. (I don't have DC <shameless imposter> but don't mind taking a turn if need be.)

I would love to go to that, and am thinking will just book and then have to go!

ISNT Sun 11-Jul-10 21:03:36

I really want to come grin

DH will find out how much holiday he has left on Tues and I'll take it from there.

My DC are 3 and 1 and the thought of taking them both on the tube into town and being out all day is just horrifying TBH <feeble emoticon>

Where there's a will though and all that grin

Ewe Sun 11-Jul-10 21:12:58

Ooh this looks fab, thanks for posting Len, think I will book a ticket. Have you been before?

LeninGoooaaall Sun 11-Jul-10 21:32:46

First one was last year I think, it was on the BBC4 doc. I haven't been but I fancy it so I've booked a place. Hope to see you all there.

Adair Sun 11-Jul-10 21:36:35

Looks good, thanks. Marking my place. Will sort out tomorrow...

glitterkitty Sun 11-Jul-10 22:07:43

Oh, I want to come. Just asked DP if he wanted to join me and he told me to '...go away the world cup final is on' grin maybe will ask him again tommorow.

You can walk from King's Cross too, takes about 5-10 mins.

I will have moved out of London by then

My mate helps organise it so I want to try and come, but will have to see.

Have an awesome time to those who go!

I didn't even know there was one in July. Hope you can make it SGM smile

Anyway DH has checked how much holiday he has left and YAY I can come!

I have booked the feminist parenting one in the morning as well - Len I'm not stalking you I promise smile.

Anyone fancy meeting at euston first?

Sakura Wed 14-Jul-10 10:11:46

I'd like to come. They've got a creche so it's doable for me, I think.

Sakura Wed 14-Jul-10 10:12:52

ISNT, my kids are 3 and 1 too smile

ISNT Wed 14-Jul-10 12:19:24

You are a better woman than me! I am a right wuss when it comes to going on adventures with the kids in tow. Good for you! Would be lovely to meet you smile

Adair Wed 14-Jul-10 12:22:10

Hurrah, have booked. And for parenting in afternoon (rather fancy the young/old feminist one in the morning).

Excited!

Sakura Wed 14-Jul-10 12:23:36

Thank you, that's a nice thing to say.
I'd like to meet you too.
