cbt course for my 11 ds starts today - any others in same boat ?

ds has anxiety recently so me and him are off for a 6 week cbt course at the childerns mental health clinic - not sure what to expect - feel so sad that he has this
just wanting to talk to anyone else whose kids have this

My ds was under CAMHS for ocd tendencies and anxiety last year.He didn't have a course of CBT as I think he was too young to grasp it in full-he's only 7 but we had various worksheets to work through when he had his bouts of ocd (Thankfully, he's pretty stable at the moment).
Yes,we were sad that our ds was so frantic with worry but CAMHS were great and very supportive.I'm sure your ds will benefit greatly from CBT.
