can you get PND when your DDs are 2.5 and 1.5?

have not been myself since they were born but people are just telling me to get on with it.

What would the doctor say?

kjq, yes you can. You may have had it earlier but I think it sometimes takes a while to realise that this isn't just a "bad day" as every day is a bad day.

I have had PND and the best thing I ever did was go and see my doctor. He was really understanding.

Do you get much time to yourself ? You may be able to help yourself a bit before you go to the doctor.
I know that most people with PND/Depression find it really hard to get up in the mornings. I used to wake with an absolute dread of the day. You may just be "down" as opposed to depressed.

you're probably right. I think that I'm just really tired of the hum drum and my 2 dds demanding attention all the time.

when i read other mnetters I realise how lucky I am but some days i could cry all day for absolutely no reason.

If you really feel like crying all day that isn't right. I'm not a doctor, I was just giving you some opinions. You should definitely go and speak to someone before it gets worse. I promise you you'll feel better once you have gone.

I feel he same as you. Mine are 8 and 2, and I have been snappy and annoyed by the slightest thing since 2 yr old was born. Have been putting it down to tiredness but maybe there's more to it. Do you work? I gave up after Ds born and think that maybe something to do with it as well. Sorry I'm not being much help, but sometimes it's comforting to know other people feel the same?
