My CPN is an angel

My sweet community psychiatric nurse came today, and fixed me an emergency appointment for Friday, and then ten minutes after she'd left, she popped back with a bag from Morrison's - inside, two enormous gooey sticky cream cakes and 3 packs of girls fancy hair clasps - "Here you go honey, that's pudding for you tonight, and a treat for the girls - because you haven't got a sister nearby to look after you. It's too beautiful a day to be sad" and winked and went away.
Leaves me feeling quite shattered with what a kindness that was.
