Do all ADs make you put on weight?

No, don't think so.

DH on fluoxetine, and put on weight while depressed, before I got him on the meds. TBH he's much more in a state of mind to do something about his weight now the depression is under control.

I put on weight when on fluoxetine, but I find citalopram much better - it seems to regulate my appetite and lessen my addiction for chocolate!

agree with clumsymum. My friend says fluoxetine makes her put on weight, but IME the same AD has helped me feel more positive about exercise = weight loss

I put on weight while on ADs but that is because I don't eat when depressed.
