Bought some today. It was recommended to me. Just wondered if anyone has tried Bach's Rescue Remedy Spray and if you found it helpful.
Thanks.

I always have some in the house
great stuff really does help me
I used it before my driving test and really do think that it helped me pass first time cause I wasn't racked with nerves and unable to concentrate.
I also feel that it definitely helped with my anxiety.

I use it. Have found it really helps me when i am feeling nervous. I bought i for attending court for residency hearing. It did make me less nervous.

i have used this too. I used to use it at work as i had often to do very fiddly stuff and my hands would shake too much if i didn't use it. Also, it helped me get on a plane once, although i did swig nearly the whole bottle that day.

I suffer from anxiety and depression (apparently!) and have just started on ADs so cant use the rescue rem i presume. I did find it worked for me though. Placebo effect? maybe - but who cares, if it works.

What can I expect when I spray it? Taste, feeling etc?

tastes of alcohol - it contains a few drops to stop the water going off.

I use it when I am anxious, and it really helps to calm me down. I find it much better than Kalms tablets, which didn't seem to make much difference at all.

I agree that it tastes of alcohol! Great stuff!

Kalms are crap. Rescue Remedy is just expensive water.

Found Kalms a total waste of time, but do feel calmer after taking RR. This could be all in my mind, but I do notice a difference.

I found it crap.

I need the hard stuff.

But I had PND twice with severe anxiety issues.

The depression's on the wane.

But the anxiety and panic attacks and insomnia are still there.

wondered if you could OD on RM. I needed lots of... something. Didn't make a blind bit of differce here

I find diazepam helpful .

themoon66 · 13/08/2007 00:09

I doubt you could OD on Rescue Remedy, given that its only water

Only one way to find out. I'm just off to have a squirt (exuse the expression!) and will let you know how it goes.

How did you find it, Sparkler?

Report
sparkler · 13/08/2007 12:01

Not sure - used it again this morning. I'm wondering if just taking time out to have a squirt is making me feel better as I'm away from the situations that are causing me to feel like I am.
I have a lot going on here at the moment so stress levels are high.

I'm not sure if it's working or not. Possibly a little bit. Wonder if it will work if I pour it over my two fighting dd's heads.
