breathlessness on sertraline-change to paroxetine?

I was prescribed sertraline for OCD and anxiety with mild depression in February, I started on 50mg and increased to 100mg as after a while the 50 stopped working.
It has been great and I've not felt this calm for several years. However, I have felt that it's stopping working as well as it did. The other problem is since increasing the dose I am quite breathless when walking fast or climbing stairs. I go running and again, I am very breathless to the point my lungs hurt and can still be sore the next day.
The GP is aware and has listened to my chest and said all is ok. He didn't want to increase to 150mg because of the breathlessness. He said if I wanted to I could try another tablet and suggested paroxetine as I could just change over without weaning off the sertraline.

I'm not sure what to do. I have been on antidepressants in the past and paroxetine was one of them and I ant remember if it was one of the ones that sent me loopy or not! For this reason I am afraid to switch but I'm worried about the breathlessness and the sertraline being less effective.
Has anyone had similar problems and can advise or WWYD?
