not good atm!

Have been on an AD called Trittico (Trazodone), along with my usual Prozac, for 3 days & am now totally messed up. Dizzy, headaches, memory loss, slow reactions & feeling even more depressed than before. Dr told me to stop today (as if I needed to be told!) but still feeling absolutely terrible. Has anyone else had this kind of reaction to an AD? To make it worse, dh is off to Bombay on business tomorrow & has sent me a "just in case" e-mail of what to do, who to contact, should "something happen". And also realised I've put on about a stone in 6 weeks.

oh did! it sounds like it's just the effects of the ad's getting out of your system. go back to your docs and see what else they can recommend, if not see another doc. it sounds bit strange s/he said to come off them straight away tho. hth x

i did wonder who you were! it will feel horrible at the moment and it may take a little while for you to feel "normal" again.
with ref to the "in case something should happen", would it help you to know that he may be just being sensible? if i went abroad on business, i would feel dreadful if no-one could contact me. maybe you might be comfort eating more than you realise? nearly all of us have doen that to some extent at some point so don't be hard on yourself about it, just eat sensibly and try and get out for a good walk. but wrap up warmly and it may blow away a few cobwebs for you x
