Hello,

Today i have all of a sudden dipped into a low mood, it's awful but I get like this sometimes. But how do you get over it?
I'm just sat here really down with no motivation to do anything? I just feel 'bored' with everything Hmm

Get outside, especially if the sun is shining. Go for a walk. Don't set an impossible goal like 30 min... walk for 7.5 min and then turn around and walk home, and you've had a 15 min walk. If you have family members, write each one a little note to put on their pillows or in lunchboxes, telling how much you love them or a funny joke. Listen to music. Be kind to yourself. If you've come through this before you will again.

Oh I so know that feeling

Echo the advice to get outside, if only for ten minutes
Catch up with a friend, even by text, if you don't feel up to talking
Do something nice for someone, even just paying them a compliment, saying how you admire them for xyz. I help out my friend's charity, even if just sharing things on Facebook
I love craft stuff and even when I'm not up to making anything, I browse etsy, for inspiration and treat myself to a craft magazine
Reach out for support, just knowing that you're not alone can help
Try to eat regularly, I tend to live on rubbish when I'm feeling down, but try to eat some fresh stuff

I hope you're feeling a bit better soon

I'm in the same boat at the moment. Low mood started Sunday night, meant I skipped responsibilities yesterday and today, and now feeling even lower because of all the catching up I have to do. It's a hard cycle to break.
Hope things pick up for you soon.

Thank you!

I am going to go with what you all suggest, a nice walk alone from kids might perk me up a bit! It's just an awful state that I get in. It's like I
Am two different people, one minute I'm happy the next I'm down in the dumps
