I need help with emetophobia - soon

I've always suffered but I'm getting to an all time low. DD has just recovered from a week-long v-bug. That was hell.
Last night I was woken by DH being sick. First time in 21 years.
It has sent me into a tailspin.
I've not eaten a scrap all day (and I'm breastfeeding so I need to get a grip). I am very tired as awake lots in night but can't relax as so anxious.
Have bleached everything I can think of but the anxiety is driving me crazy.
I think I finally need help - has anyone had successful treatment? I am not tempted to go to gp so may investigate private therapists?
Please help me

I so feel for you. I have just the same. Go to see your gp - they will be able to refer you for cbt for emetophobia. I gave had anxiety counselling free on the nhs before which has been helpful.

And for now, if you are bfing you need to eat, and rest. Isolate your dh from everyone else. Try eating plain food that will give you some calories.
Good luck. Xxxxx
