....sick of children in general these days only wanting to be indooors looking at a screens and not playing out. No kids out there for my DD and it really depresses the hell out of me. Oh, and on rare occassions we do see some kids they are totally unpleasant.

I know what you mean. I'm struggling because school finished so late and now everything is back to normal except schools we're knocking around together at home getting bored and nobody wants to go out because it is grey and cold. Bring your DD here, mine aren't unpleasant they are lovely :)

Thanks Becky, I wish I could I really do! I honestly day dream about looking out of my window and seeing a pleasant child walking towards our house - not children who right 'fuck-off' in the snow (2 Christmases ago) or post pencil drawn pictures of a hand giving the finger through my letter-box (this happened whilst I was taking a bath recently). Sighs....

My oldest (he's nine) came home from school one day last year and said to me, 'mummy, I know a swear word'. I asked him what the word was. He said 'It is the F-word and it is the rudest word there is.' Bracing myself for the worst I asked him to tell me what the word was. He whispered in my ear 'fart' and went bright red and hid. I'm so glad mine are still quite innocent. Long may it last!

Is there any chance that you can move?
Your DD not having friends she can play with is not very nice for her or for you.

Thanks a million a Million, we have already moved several years ago due to horrendous anti-social neighbours! Perhaps we are a magnet for such people?!
It is a lot quieter where we are now it's just that the children we do see, all except one 'visitor' are not particularly pleasant.
