Fasting / 5:2 diet

What would you do?

So, this is my first week. Fasted on Monday,fine. Faster today, did fine until after my run at 5:30. Have just scarfed a banana and honey smoothie (homemade) and two bloody bagels and butter! Would you fast again tomorrow?

With the weekend coming up, I would personally fast again tomorrow. At least go for a mini-FD (that means sub-1000 cals)

I'd certainly skip breakfast - and possibly lunch.

And I wouldn't beat myself up about it - tomorrow is another day! Smile

btw, after fasted training, if you want something quick, I would recommend a protein shake and maybe a tangerine. Or if you eat at home, a salad with protein.
A banana, especially with honey, is so high GI that it is much more likely you will binge.
