Fasting / 5:2 diet

Amazing how the mind plays tricks

I have lost one stone one pound so far on 1:1 and love this WOL. Once I reach my goal (in six pounds) I will go 5:2 and see how I get on.
Anyway I felt really skinny and decided to try on my old jeans which I haven't been able to wear in ages. I thought these will pop on no problem, probably even be baggy...well I got them on - just! Struggled to do them up and my muffin tops looked like a prize-winning cake stand at a village fete.
On other occasions I have felt fat and tried stuff on convinced I wouldn't be able to get my ankles through and then my clothes were loose! Confused
I think it's easy to see how people can get dysmorphic/anorexic when the mind is so powerful.
Anyone else found this?

I totally agree! My boyfriend got so annoyed with me complaining of "fat lump days" he measured my waist each day for a month and never told me the.numbers, he noted when I had "fat lump days" and after showed it all to me. There was not change in the numbers at all!
Its all i'm my mind
My mind hasn't caught up with my body regarding how I look....

It's crazy isn't it?
I find that I have a 'fat day' usually the day after a day where the scales have gone down. So a skinny day followed by a fat day. No real logic to it.
