Is two days together complete madness?

I've just done two consecutive days; I felt a little grumpy/light-headed late afternoon, but much better now I've eaten (i have 50 cals first thing, a cup of coffee mid-afternoon, and then 400 calories around 7:30). It's perfectly doable, if not preferable. I have done 3 consecutive days in the past, but didn't feel great at the end of the third day so probably wouldn't advise that.

Single meal at end of day of about 300 cals, the other 200 are used up from the milk in my tea throughout the day.

Yes I do it quite often and feel no more hungry the second day.

I'd fast all day Monday & have a sensible evening meal
Tuesday eat moderately
Wednesday proper fast day

I've done it a few times and find the second day easier and it gets it all over and done with Monday and Tuesday. Also the weeks I have done it I have lost more weight.

We're away on hols the next week eggy or that would be a good idea.

I think I'll try plec's plan and fast Tues, eat breakfast Wed (I don't normally eat breakfast on a fast day because it makes me too hungry) and then I'll see how I go. If it's too much I can always eat I suppose! Even if I end up having three small meals and going a little over it's better than a full-on nfd, right?

I've done it a few times, and it's OK. I eat a small breakfast on the second day, skip lunch then have dinner, rather than skipping breakfast as is my usual fasting pattern, otherwise I feel really rough in the morning of the second day.

I'm on my second week of 5:2 and feeling very good about it.

My problem is next week my diary has gone a bit silly. I usually fast on a Monday but I'm out that night at a dinner so I can't fast then. I have other commitments on Thursday (ok my mother is coming over and I don't want to fast while she's here as she will be unsupportive and demanding wine and it will just be very difficult.) Friday is the first day of our hols so I wasn't planning on fasting that week.

So can I fast tues and wed, or will that be hell on earth?
Alternatively, can I fast during the day on Monday and eat a restaurant meal at night, or is that just pointless?
Or do I suck it up and just do one day next week?

Appreciate any advice for a newbie!
