So did 5/2 for five weeks. Lost half a stone. People were commenting - thinner face, smaller belly. I fitted into a skirt that last fit me over five years ago. Went on seaside holiday for a week. Ate ice cream and doughnuts and cake and fish and chips and drank wine and beer and came back to have put on half of what I had lost. So annoyed. So did a fast day today. Quarter of my tdee is 600 cal but ended up having 700 cal. Going to fast Mon/Thurs/Sat next week to try to get back on track but am so cross with myself. Also go away again at end of aug. another seaside holiday this time with family. How do I stop it happening again?
When I was maintaining I did 16:8 & no snacking Monday through Friday, very rarely doing 24 hour fasts. Now I'm back in weightloss mode I do 2x24 hour fasts and always skip breakfast except weekends (when I have brunch).
