I presume it's ok to link to a blog post (?)

I'm planning to start adding recipes as we go along too

I've followed to read later - been thinking of doing the 5:2 myself!

Very nice looking blog! My only comment would be on the consecutive days thing - that recommendation is only to make it easier, but many people do occasionally do a back-to-back fast, and it's not against the rules, as such.

Thanks, Melanie, good advice. It does sound confusing when I say that 'fast days mustn't be consecutive', as though something dreadful will happen if they were!!

I'll look at yours if you look at mine! smile

This is from the perspective of someone who has been IFing for 17 months (today!) and has lost 10kg. The link has many links to other relevant blogs, plus much research and lots of 5:2 recipes.

BTW, the Horizon programme is easy to find. I have a link to it in my blog, and it is linked to in the OP on the main 5:2 thread on this forum (currently thread nr 24.)

This should be the first port of call of anyone interested in Intermittent Fasting.
