It's my first fast day and I want to check I'm not going over. What do you think?

So far I have had:
Chopped cantaloupe melon (about 1 cup full)
2 hard boiled eggs
1 stick of celery with salt

Drinks:
3 cups of almost black coffee (v small splash of milk)
Pepsi max
Sparkling water
Tap water

My planned dinner is salmon (was going to have about half - three quarters of a fillet) and hopefully lots of roasted cauliflower with 1 cal spray and cumin/pepper/lemon juice- got recipe from another thread.
I'm wondering how much salmon and raw weight cauli I am allowed tonight to not take me over 500 cals?
Thanks :)

You've probably had about 200 calories so far; I am sure 3/4 fillet of salmon and as much cauliflower as you can bear Grin won't take you over the limit.

Does this diet really work? Will be interested to hear how you get on.

Thank you very much! I thought I'd had more :)
I have heard good reports from people so thought I'd give it a go, plus some health benefits are supposedly there.

The my fitness pal website/app is really good for calorie counting, and breaks down your protein/fat/carbs too...

The idea is to fast until tonight isn't it?

No - it's 500 cal max a day but it doesn't matter when you eat them. Unless I've got it wrong? I understand there are extra health benefits to completely fasting until dinner time but as its my first day I think I'd rather work up to that ;)

You can fast however you like on fast days, it just seems most people end up trying to give the 16hr window for the health benefits and find not eating until the evening easier.
