Implant removal. When will I get my period?

I had my first implant may 2013 and had it replaced in April 2016 and then had it removed 20th June (5 weeks ago) as me and my partner are looking to start trying for a baby. I haven't had a period since November 2014 so it's been a while since I've had any activity! How long should I wait before getting concerned and seeking medical advice regarding the return of my period? I know I'm not pregnant I've taken a number of tests in the past two weeks to be sure.

I am in a similar position to you. I had one, had it replaced in October 2014 and then had it removed in June this year. I did have periods on mine but nothing for years and then they suddenly started last November out of the blue.
When my implant was removed I had a mini period straight away, and then a proper one 2 weeks later. It certainly seemed to take a while before my hormones knew what they were doing.

If this helps in any way it took me 18 months after the implant. Be patient if you are worried talk to your doctor. I have never had that problem I have always had a period.

I didn't have a period after but that's because I conceived within a month of having it out Grin.
