Which means one has been in for about 14 hours....! Now slightly concerned about toxic shock syndrome. I'm 36 have been using tampons since I was 12 I cannot believe I've managed this! Please reassure me and tell me you've left one in that long.
Worryingly the one I put I put in about an hour ago (but removed as felt odd, now I know why) went in fine even though the other one was sitting there.....

I'd say there's no reason to be worried about TSS now that the tampon is out, unless you have symptoms.
