Noriday

I was put on Noriday to control horrendous, long, heavy periods after having my 2nd child 14 months ago. I have been Noriday a month and got my 1st period 11 days ago (still going..). It is lighter than normal which is great but it seems never ending. I am not sure if this is normal on Noriday? Is this much bleeding normal? is it breakthrough bleeding? or a period? It isn't spotting - I need sanitary protection. I have 3 months worth of pills. I also feel 'thicker' around the middle and have put on a few lbs without trying. Is it worth persevering or best to go back to GP? What are your experiences?

Is noriday a mini pill? If so irregular bleeding is normal and it can last for longer than a 'normal' period. you might find it settles down the longer you are on the pill. Same goes for other side effects, it can take months to settle down. If you're worried it's worth talking to the GP though.
