I used my moon cup for the first time...

So I've had the moon cup for a couple of years but only just used it (pregnancy, breastfeeding etc) and I've got a few questions.

Can I leave it in all night?
Do you normally have to struggle a bit to extract it?
Does getting it in & out get easier?!

Yes you can leave it in all night but if you are worried about it leaking wear a towel too until you realise it won't leak.

Getting it in and out gets much easier. If you think it's stuck bare down on it and it will move down a bit.

I left half the stem on and cut the rest off. Just enough to grip with my fingers.

Took me about three periods to get used to it and trust it but after that it's great. We'll worth it. Pregnant now so won't be using it for a whole but I've even bought them as gifts for others!

Thanks I'm not too worried about it leaking. It's just so big and a bit scarey! See how I get on tonight...

I cut the whole stem off. It gets easier to get in/out as you find the right method for you! I slide a finger up the side and push it in to break the suction then grip with finger/thumb and pull out.

I ended up cutting the whole stem off mine too, I tried gradually reducing it but it always ended up pinching so went the whole hog! I've used it for nearly 10 years and found it was quite easy to get the hang of pushing it out just enough to get a grip on the base to remove it.
