how long can I expect to bleed/spot for, mirena?

Thursday will be 2 weeks since it was fitted, I was on the last day of my period. I am still bleeding/spotting fresh blood. Everytime it looks like its finished, it starts all over again.

3 yrs in and i'm still having regular bleeds

it's a lot lighter than without but lately it's been getting heavier

it's not been all it's been cracked up to be for me.

No, its the bleeding inbetween cycles, I've been bleeding for 3 weeks now, inc my period.

are you having any unusual pain at all? i think it can take up to 6 weeks before it's treated as 'out of the ordinary'

No, not really. Still a bit crampy but nowhere near as bad as it was.

is there a nurse you can call at the surgery? it might be worth checking out tho, cramps should be all gone now
