can anyone please share their experiences on the mini pill

i am still breastfeeding, my period has just returned and we are not ready to conceive again yet.

i am hesitating using a pill while breastfeeding...even though doctor said it was safe..not sure why..thinking about condoms instead.

i want to know if anyone has had side effects while on it and/or if anyone else fell pregnant because they forgot to take it??
