does anyone have any experience of this organisation or other clubs?

Have been to see K World with children who are all really keen to start and it seems they have a really brilliant programme for 'life skills' ie confidence, concentration, self esteem etc.

It seems quite expensive though as have to pay up front for a course which could include all family members and last 6-18 months depending on the time we put into it.

Wondering if we could get the same style of coaching at a more affordable local club level. Really keen on the social benefits we could get from it .

Do you still need info on this? If so, I would avoid large organisations like this, they're usually ran as businesses and only care about your money.

You'd get much better quality of teaching from a small club run by a single instructor. These types teach for the love of passing on their knowledge and not for a profit.

Also, avoid anywhere that asks you to pay up front. A genuine karate instructor would not ask this of you.

We got conned by GKR karate, very dodgy company IMO. I agree the smaller clubs are definately most trustworthy but even some of them can be a con. Ds joined taekwondo ages ago and it was a complete joke.

Definately avoid the large martial arts companies though, they're only after your money.
