Hi
Just an opinion wanted really
My 11 DD has been given a part singing in a professional musical in the summer holidays alongside 3 other girls from her year group at school.
My daughter is pretty shy and doesn't put her self forward very often - so to audition and get a part is quite an achievement.
I am very proud of her and thought it would be a good idea to get all the 4 girls together for as group photo and send it to the school for their magazine and send it to the local paper.
There will be publicity from the theatre anyway and their names / faces will be in the programme
I have spoken to all of the mums and 2 of them are happy for me to do this, however the 3rd mum doesn't want her dd to be photographed or her picture to appear any where - which is fair enough I support her wishes, however this is now going to cause a small problem, because when I photograph the girls I will have to ask her to stand aside.
When the photos eventually get published the 3 girls will get some attention but this other girl won't.
I feel a bit sorry for the other girl so would just like some advice on how to handle the situation apart from saying "sorry X, your mum doesn't want your photograph taken please stand aside"
