Hi there,

Does anyone have any experience of Lamda acting lessons? It's been suggested for my ds but it's a new term for me!!

Yes ds2 does LAMDA exams. Some people are sniffy about them as they say they can be formulaic. Personally I think they are good practice. DS2 has to prepare something, has one chance to get it right, and has to think about his presentation/performance.

Just make sure you get a good teacher :)

dd does them at school. There are different exams available within each grade. See www.lamda.org.uk/examinations/all-examinations
