Help required please?! Have lost DD's brownie badges, what can I do?

We have recently moved house and my daughter has started at a new Brownie Pack. First night I had to own up to having lost her promise badge in the move, not too bad. That night I took along DD's other two (un-sewn-on) badges to ask where to place them.

At some point between then and now I have lost them. I know, I am an idiot, but the Brownie lady will be nice. But I would rather not have to come to her with more problems on week three.

What can I do? Can I get them online somewhere? Is there a secret black market in badges?

Thanks!

There are lots of Brownie badges on ebay....just search 'Brownie Badges'.

Could you send DH to tell Brown Owl he's lost them? Grin

Good luck either way!

The badges that have to be worked for (interest badges and so on) can't be bought from the uniform stockists. You'll need to get them from Brown Owl. It happens a lot (I am a Brown Owl)!

Off now to investigate the black market in Brownie badges on Ebay....!

Like 8ballstoit* said there are loads on ebay but, as a Rainbow Guider when one of my Rainbows comes to me with the same problem (it happens quite often) I would issue new badges and certainly don't mind doing it. Don't worry about it, just ask Brown Owl.

I also notice that on Ebay they cost a lot more than they cost me to buy from Girlguiding HQ and a lot more, therefore, than Brown Owl will charge you (if she charges you anything).

The various cloth badges each cost less than £1 - don't be tempted to buy via eBay. I do charge my girls for any lost badges. It's amazing how many are then found. It only gets tricky if we've done a special one-off challenge, for which we will have bought only the correct number and they then sell out.
