So I do no exercise at the minute, because i 'can't find the time'...i'm sure there must be a way to work it in, but i can't see it...so wise and motivated mners, help me out!

I have a 2.5 yr old and a 7 month old. I work full time, DH is a SAHD. Here's my schedule
7am get up
7:45 leave for work, 35 min drive
Lunch 20-30 mins
5:15 leave work, pick up bread/milk, home by 6pm
Play with kids, dinner, bath, stories, kids asleep by 8:15/20 - these 2 hours are pretty hectic
Me & DH eat, tidy up, watch Tv, in bed by 10:30

My 7 month old wakes a few times in the night to get his dummy back, so sleep is a little broken but not too bad

The other thing is because DH is a SAHD i don't like leaving him on his own with the kids much more than he is now

I'm not at all at all fit, once upon a time i could jog 5K twice or 3 times a week, but that was before the kids...i didn't particularly like it though, it was a struggle to make myself go

So suggestions? Particularly interested in what mners who work fulltime OTH do?

I do the 30 day shred every day. It's only twenty minutes which i do every evening. I'm a single mum and work ft so my day starts at 6am and kids go to bed at 8.30pm. I come straight down and do the dvd. Its hard to fit it in but the more i do it, the more energy I have. My dd also keeps me awake at night so I know how you feel.

Home life seems pretty hectic, can you incorporate exercise into your work day? Why do you only get 20/30 minutes for lunch? I used to swim in my lunch hour, would this or walking / running work for you? Can you park further away from work and walk in and back a bit?

Up 30 mi Utes earlier. Couch to 5k or 30mibute shred.

Class 2 evenings a week. Ideally 6-7pm then home to help with bath and bed. Your dinner after kids are asleep.

Lunch time class. Work a little later.

Double buggy to put kids in to jog with. THAT will get you fit fast 😁

Late night jog or class once kids are asleep.

No problem with any of these things as long as your DH gets the chance too.

Basically if you want to exercise and you value it you will find a way. It really depends on your priorities.

Possibilities; Get up half an hour early and do a 20 min workout DVD thing. Some claim to change your life in just 7 minutes a day!

One day a week do exercise before going home - it's rough on your DH, but could you trade it for one day you get home early and he can go for a walk?

Weekends - get up and do some exercise early while kids/DH watch TV/laze as far as possible.

At weekends ALL of you go out for walks - put youngest in a sling or pushchair, do treasure hunt stuff with toddler to find 5 leaves/2 sticks etc. Race toddler to the next tree. End up carrying toddler half the way back so you get some weight lifting in as well.

Take kids swimming.

Teach toddler how throw/catch/swing a bat.

Find a park with swings/slide and spend half an hour lifting toddler on/off things. and racing them.

Get a bike with a mini bike attached on the back and go for bike rides.

Walk everywhere, with kids on pushchairs, rather than go by car.

Codyapp is excellent, you sign up for blocks of classes (mostly Pilates, barre, hiit and yoga) with experts and can take classes daily. As it's an app you can access you videos on your phone, tablet, laptop or pc...
