What's your steps today?

I think I'm just over 11,000.

I'm just asking so I can see what other people are up to.

smile

13496. About to go for a run.

gamerchick Mon 13-Jun-16 19:59:31

16995, I'm not happy!

PirateFairy45 Mon 13-Jun-16 20:06:47

Seriously? You two are hitting it hard! Is that normal for you?

I hit over 17000 yesterday and was happy with myself. As usually I hit between 6000 and 11000.

HeffalumpHistory Mon 13-Jun-16 20:08:11

8,000 today. Had a lazy one as not feeling great.
Usually 13 - 14,000

gamerchick Mon 13-Jun-16 20:09:53

Ah, it's the workweek hustle thing. I like to hit 20,000 the first and second day to stay in front. Apparently I like to win them grin

11,000 is pretty good. I would be happy with that on a weekend when it's not so busy.

PirateFairy45 Mon 13-Jun-16 20:10:13

I'm aiming for 20000 tomorrow! Anyone with me? Want more 'friends to join in the competition as I'm trying to be more active

gamerchick Mon 13-Jun-16 20:11:28

If I went out now for half an hour I could easily fit another 5000 in 'ponders'.. himself is watching the football so I won't be missed.

Mumonthesofa Mon 13-Jun-16 20:12:14

12800, I've only ever done over 20000 once in a year! I have a sedentary job so I have to try and get my steps in on my days off!

gamerchick Mon 13-Jun-16 20:12:15

I'm up for that.

HunterHearstHelmsley Mon 13-Jun-16 20:13:05

13241 as it's my rest day.

learnermummy Mon 13-Jun-16 20:17:26

Gosh only 6823. Today is a desk bound work day. Feeling very lazy

Swissgemma Mon 13-Jun-16 20:21:19

17737 target was 15000 but trying to beat a complete stranger (friend of a friend) on workweek hustle and she always beats me by about 10,000 so I am not aiming fit as near to 20k as possible. I will beat that far walking lady!

wispaxmas Mon 13-Jun-16 20:22:45

16,732, and that's with first tri exhaustion and nausea. I used to do 20k a day on weekdays. Now I'm lucky if I can get 15k!

Twowrongsdontmakearight Mon 13-Jun-16 20:27:16

9764 today. I walked to work and back; had a lunchtime walk and walked the dog. He'll get another quick walk at bedtime so I'll make 10000 which is fine by me.

Competitive stuff like 'I've done X,000 today' is the reason I don't do gyms, running etc.

JasperDamerel Mon 13-Jun-16 20:27:59

12,868, but I forgot to put it on until after the school run, so it's probably clare to 15,000 in reality. I have PMS and achy joints today so I'm having an early night instead of a walk, especially as I overdid it a bit last week and my Achilles' tendons complained.

PseudoBadger Mon 13-Jun-16 20:30:53

That's what I do too Gamerchick - get a good lead!!

HeffalumpHistory Mon 13-Jun-16 20:32:01

I'm up for 20,000 tomorrow!!
smile good motivation, thanks op!! wink

gamerchick Mon 13-Jun-16 20:32:28

Got to be done man grin

Frazzled2207 Mon 13-Jun-16 20:35:08

Feel crap now I only get 10k 4/5 times a week and I consider myself fairly active!

gamerchick Mon 13-Jun-16 20:38:07

But that is fairly active frazzled over that is just gravy.

Kornerkutta Mon 13-Jun-16 20:41:15

18291. That's usual for my day off work when I go for a half hour run and do the weekly lap round the supermarket. Much lower count on my days at work

eurochick Mon 13-Jun-16 20:43:58

9027 so far. I usually hit about 12000 on work days but it was raining when I left the office so I took the bus to the station rather than walk as usual.

Woopsiedaisy Mon 13-Jun-16 20:50:44

11,202 and about to go for a 2,500 step walk (regular route)

I aim for 80,000 a week. That is necessary as I am recovering from two Heart Attacks last year. The second one nearly killed me and we then discovered I had a silent Genetic condition which causes my heart to just go into Spasm.

I love my fitbit, feel like it is saving my life and have just upgraded. It makes me get up and out regardless of the temperature or the weather.

Woopsiedaisy Mon 13-Jun-16 20:52:56

Haven't yet managed a 20,000 day but am up for trying.
