Cheating on FitBit... (only half serious)

Using my competitive-ness using a FitBit combined with Paul McKennas 'I can make you thin' to try and loose weight.

I'm in a challenge with a friend and she has at least 9k steps ahead of me... She's a SAHM like me, with a child same age as me. I'm sure she's attached the thing to her toddler!.

Tried attaching mine to my toddler to try and win today's challenge. She laughed at me and said 'no mummy, don't think so...' Damn it child!

Any pointers? Xx

Do you have a dog?

Get an exercise ball and bounce. I've got the Fitbit that clips onto your bra and it detects every bounce as a step....

Go for a walk? Wink

DH is v active at work - drives me barmy - i have to really work hard to get my target 15k (OK, we're now averaging 20k), but he tends to get his 15k easily just being at work.

Winding wool with a handheld wool winder. If you don't have one , you could just sit in the sofa making a cycling motion with your arm :)

Sorry to hijack the thread but you guys might be able to help me! I am using a pedometer on my phone atm but want to et a Fitbit but wondered if it displays your steps or you have to link it up to a computer? I'm like an 80 year old with technology!

Think you can get a Fitbit that shows on the device,

But one I have connects with my phone and I can check how many steps I've done that way. But on phone you set how many steps you wanna do and when you do that many, it flashes and vibrates like crazy for a few seconds so you know you've done it x
