Spinning and nether regions....

Do your nether regions eventually get used to spinning/cycling?

I've just started spinning and although I love the actual exercise I dread going because of the pain in my fanjo - will this get any better?

I find it easier to use my feet on the pedals, my labia wore thin after a couple of sessions. HTH Wink

Cycling shorts, the ones with the inserts. Not pretty, but certainly functional!

I already wear the good 'ol padded cycling shorts but it still hurts! Especially in the bloody sprint position......

I might just try and attach a cushion to the saddle next week.

You can buy seat covers. Mine was £6.99 from Argos and solved the problem for me!

Ooh interesting. Is it a specific spinning seat cover or a general bike seat cover clueless

Oh god I feel your pain

I find that it gets better with time - the more you go, the easier it becomes. I'm desperately hoping this isn't because it's gradually turning to leather down there.

Make sure your resistance is high enough, you should be doing the work with your legs not bouncing around in the saddle. A padded seat cover helps too. And if it's really bad, a few days off

This is it Baby www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Product/partNumber/3335882.htm

It's not the best one I hasten to add, lots of women in my class have ones that are more padded. I got this when I was new to spinning and didn't want to commit to an expensive one. As it turns out, it works just fine for me so I've stuck with it.

I love spinning so much- usually do 4 sessions a week. I'm currently suffering with hypremesis gravidarum and can't even get out of bed, I haven't been for a whole month now Sad
