I'm 47. Have done yoga for thirty years, and ballet and Zumba since the beginning of this year. And looking in the mirror in the dance studio has, to my horror, shown me flapping so much I could take off.
I have very good muscle tone, am not overweight, abs of steel, fairly fit and healthy. I walk miles in my job.
Ideally I would like to incorporate something into my life and have been thinking about buying some wrist weights. Is this a stupid idea? Shall I resign myself to gym workouts, feeling like a fanny in the midst of all the young things with all the gear on, flirting and checking each other out?
