Does anyone do tai chi classes? And BodyBalance?

I really like the tai chi bits of BodyBalance and am tempted to try a whole tai chi class.

I'm just worried it might be a bit, kind of 'spiritual', if that's the right word. I don't even know why I think this. I'm probably completely wrong. I'm very much not 'spiritual' and won't like it if it goes all woo.

Is the whole class just like the BodyBalance bits?

I've only ever done one tai chi class so I'm clearly no expert, but I have done lots of body balance classes and they were quite different. The taI chi was definitely more woo, but it may depend on the teacher. I don't get the impression that tai chi has been as mainstreamed/westernised as much as yoga for example. Try it and report back Grin

I did Thai Chi for a few years and really enjoyed it. I have never done body balance so can't compare.

The key is to find a good teacher (as with everything). I did yang style and that suited me really well but there are different styles you can try.

There was no imposed spirituality to it at all. I found more of that in yoga.

Thank you nonreplicable I might give to a go.

Its really the gym I already belong to or nothing Smile, so will have to live with whatever style they do.
