Really want to start running and this seems the most reasonable way to do it. Can anyone recommend what website/app to follow as there are so many when I google it I am getting quite confused!

I used the NHS Choices one when I first did C25K. It's good because you have a voice, like a personal trainer, telling you when to run & when to walk, and encouraging you along the way. The music isn't great though.

I've also used the Zen Labs one. You can use it on your phone alongside your own choice of music, and it beeps, vibrates or voice prompts you when it's time to run & walk.

Whichever you choose, it's a great programme & it really works.

Thanks drama. Will have a look at both of these. Need something to help me along I think. Now for the rain to stop so I can start!

Run in the rain - it's fine! I used the NHS one, too, and got to like the encouragement. The music isn't dreadful, but only just.

Another Nhs user. The advantage of the music is that it's paced. I like "Laura's" voice and encouragement.

I use the NHS one too and I like it. I have an iphone and it links to my itunes through the NHS app, so I can have my own music.

Hi Wings, I'm not in the UK either, but was able to download the NHS C25K app from here and it's on iTunes.

Just in case you don't like the one you've downloaded Smile

Good luck for tomorrow!

Hi

I use "get running" very like the NHS app. It lets you use your own music ??
