I've just done day one of the 30 day shred! anyone else with me?

I'm gona start it tonight when my little one is in bed. I've ordered the dvd but still waiting, so gona get it off youtube. Hoping it will make a difference. ..Fingers crossed!

Just did it. Found it quite easy. Do you think it's ok to carry on tomorrow with level 2?

Think I will ache in the morning though!

Morning! I felt fine yesterday and was of a mind that level one was too easy....i am in pain today! Am trying to talk myself into doing day two....

Brilliant!keep it up.

Day 2 done. I did level 2 and enjoyed it. Nearly didn't get myself off the sofa to do it lol. Level two is much harder but there is lots of encouragement.

Let me know how u get on tomorrow. ..

Day 3 done!! I am in pain!

Well done in doing level 2! I'm definitely not fit enough to try it yet... I'll watch it today though to see just how nails you are!

I'm having trouble with the side lunges with front arm raises, I can't quite get how to bend to the side without my knees going over my toes...going to look for a tutorial today. I only have one set of hand weights as well and while they're fine for bicep curls and shoulder presses etc but they are way to heavy to lift out to the front.

I've just done level 1 day 4. It's definietly getting easier, I managed all the cardio today with no stopping. I refuse to look at level 2, level one is enough for now!

Had my sisters wedding rehearsal tonight in the window I have to do the dvd. I'm getting back on it tomorrow.

Yey we r doing well, looking forward to completing the challenge and feeling happy with myself for doing it.

Maybe try and do the side lunges without doing the arms until u get used to it. I didn't have dumbells day one so I used bottles of water. U could use a tin of beans or something so u have a lighter weight.

Day 4, well I stupidly tried level 2....... am going back to level 1 tomorrow!! Oh. My. God. girl84 you are nails for doing it!! So impressed Smile

After a shower and a half hour recovery my arms are still trembling.... i think my weights are too heavy! I have to switch to tinned peaches half way through as it was so painful!

Mostlycakes I was having trouble with lifting both arms with the side lunges and now I lift one arm at a time. I find I can concentrate better on my legs and I know my arms are still getting a work out.

LullabyLullaby good tip. I swapped my hand weights for a tin of peaches and managed much better!

are you all dieting or doing healthy eating as well? lullaby I'm with you - I have a massive slice of cake yesterday.....

What an inspiration! I've been plucking up the courage to start 30 day shred for ages.

I am new to it though so a question: are the youtube routines ok or do people find the dvds better?

If the youtube ones are good I'm going for it tomorrow! too much wine has made tonight a write off

Hello BoFo! I'm a cheapskate so am using the YouTube routine.....

I've got a really sore elbow today.....i think the weights I've been using are too heavy for all the exercises Sad will do today's routine just with tinned fruit or nothing tosee if it improves.

Gutted! Don't want to stop now!!

The last time I tried the 30 day shred I was also running so gave myself shin splints. I stopped for a day or two to let them heal....and never started again..... don't want to so that this time.
