Some questions about the shred!

I've bought the DVD. I am not fit and I have a lot of weight to loose. Eek....

So my questions are:

  1. I'm starting on level 1 do I do this level for 30 days?


  1. Do I need to do level 1/2/3 for 10 days each?


  1. Diet. Should I do anything in particular (was planning lots of water, low carbs, no carbs with evening meal and plenty of fruit and veg and no snacks!)


Am I heading in the right direction?

I think the aim is 10 days of each level. Make sure you measure yourself as you may see change in measurement before you see change in scales. Always make sure you are pushing yourself and don't kid yourself on that you are working hard when you aren't really- it's only 20 minutes so it should feel pretty hard throughout! You may want a range of weights to help you achieve that as just one weight will feel hard for some exercises but not for others.

Diet sounds fine. Don't go too radical or you may struggle to stick at it is my only thought.
And you will ache. It is normal. And it fades as you get going for the day, but I can't y pretend that the first few squats with aching thighs are fun!!
