Has anyone done T25?

Am seriously tempted. Am an insanity graduate and do the workouts 2 - 3 times a week for the past 6 months or so. Have tried the asylum but a bit hardcore, but do the speed and agility workout every week or so and trying to build up to the asylum (it just hasn't happened yet!).

Really struggle for time so T25 sounds perfect. I want something on the same fitness level of insanity though - is it easier? Is it really as good? Can you really get a workout with results in only 25 mins? Would probably only be able to do 4 times a week not the 6 (?) times the program says. is it similar to insanity?

Sorry for all the questions but very interested.

Grin . I love the speed and agility asylum workout, it's one of my faves, but the others are too hard for me at the minute Blush I think I'm addicted to Shaun T workouts though .

I want to do the T25 workouts but need to do some other stuff first. Can you come back and report how good/hard it is when you've done it?

Will do if I do go for it noroom . Have been ding some research online and looks like it scrimps on stretching/warm ups so wondering how good it would be.

I really enjoyed t25, I'm going to start it again soon. It's just enough after I've got the kids to bed etc.

I liked T25 eventually. First few days I wasn't impressed at all but it grew on me. I find the cool down stretch perfectly adequate (it's on top of the 25 minutes). There's no warm up like Insanity, the exercises just start slower, but again I've had no problem. Starting Gamma tomorrow in fact!

How does the difficulty compare to insanity Im ? Do you feel like you've got as much of a workout with T25? Thanks for that

The first one (Alpha) I didn't think it was as difficult and felt a little cheated to be honest. Beta is harder, and I was nearly sick doing the first Gamma workout this morning!

I have a heart rate monitor, and calorie wise I burn about the same on a cardio workout (ie Speed). Some of the more weight based ones (ie Upper Focus) it is less calories burned but I certainly feel it muscle wise!

I don't think it's as difficult as Insanity to be honest. However, as there is no break (25 mins straight through) you really do feel it!

I find it much easier to fit in being shorter, and I'm more inclined to do it.

I do like it now!

Yes, the 25 minutes does appeal for time reasons! I wonder if maybe I should get it more to compliment my current use of insanity/asylum rather than to do as a program on its own Hmm

I have just finished a T25/Insanity hybrid that Tania devised, that was helpful as I mixed the days around when necessary - if I didn't have a lot of time did T25 rather than Insanity, or the longer workout if I had no plans. That worked quite well.

I have done alpha and beta T25..much easier than second month insanity but I tend to do 2 workout from T25 the same day instead of just one. Also handy when you don't have a full hour for insanity. the workouts are good and if you really work at it you can get a decent HR increase. You could also use weighted gloves to add a bit more effort..I am trying to build myself up to asylum but too scared!!
