If you've been doing your exercises with no effect, ask the doctor about physio. This happens to a lot of women post-birth and sometimes you need physiotherapy to help strengthen things up. I realise you want to get back to normal but it takes ages for your body to recover from pregnancy and labour. Please don't overdo it and injure yourself.
I don't have problems exercising strangely, but I always cross my legs hitting the high notes at band rehearsal.
I did outdoor bootcamp style training whilst pregnant but stopped at 30wks when it was getting too much. I literally couldn't wait to get back into it. I've started back this week (baby is 8wks and first vaginal delivery, had CS with my first) they do a running night too so gave that a go and I made sure I went to the loo before going and thought I was 'empty' obviously not as I was completely soaked 10mins in which is mortifying... I had a pad on too and it went through that Luckily I had black pants on and it was dark so nobody could see anything. I feel so depressed about this and just want to get back to normal.
I realise it's only 8wks after birth but I don't want to have to wait months before I can get back into the exercise I love. I am going to go to the doctors about this but have a feeling I'll be fobbed off with 'do your pelvic floors' (which I have actually been doing every day anyway) sometimes I can go to the loo and still feel like I need a wee. I seem to have urges and when I need a wee I've got to get to a toilet sharpish.
Anyone been in this position who can offer any advise/suggestions? Please tell me it gets better
